The Iloilo City Government conducted a Brgy. Pet Rabies Vaccination Schedule in certain barangays last April 5 at Sta. Felomina and Sto. Domingo, April 6 at Mohon and Sta. Cruz, April 7 at Sto. NiΓ±o Sur.
While Civil Technology Students rendered their On-the-Job Training in the construction of the Iloilo City Dog Pound and Shelters by the Iloilo City Government and City Veterinarian Office situated in Brgy. Calahunan, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Students, trained by Mr. Joan Condez in Masonry, they applied their skills in laying block for structure and plastering wall surface on the dog cages.
Originally, neutering was slated every tuesdays and thursdays and spaying every wednesdays and fridays, but with the recent implementation of the 4-day work week, the Office of the City Veterinatian temporarily do the spaying and neutering together. Schedule is still subject to change as the office is finalizing it.
For those who are interested to avail of spay and neuter program of the city, you may visit them inside the City Engineer's Motorpool, DFelgado St., Iloilo City, across U.P. in the Visayas.
